Grilled Chicken on Skewers

Category: grilling, poultry | Difficulty: Very easy

No Words Wednesday Recipe!

Ingredients:
1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into thin strips OR buy the boneless, skinless chicken tenderloins
2/3 c. lemon juice
2/3 c. honey
3 tsp. lemon pepper (McCormick California Style)
1 tsp. kosher salt

Preparation:
Thread chicken strips slices onto wooden skewers. In shallow dish, combine remaining ingredients. Add prepared skewers and refrigerate 1 hour or overnight. Grill or broil 10 to 15 minutes, basting with marinade until chicken is cooked through and bacon is crisp. Soak wooden skewers in water before grilling to prevent them from burning.
