And the Secret Ingredient Is...

Kam, from The Sophisticated Gourmet e-mailed me to ask if I wanted to host this week’s Blogger Secret Ingredient. Boy, my creative mind started working and for awhile there I had so many ideas I couldn't get them straight! Then I got fixated on peanut butter, reason being is hubby was eating a peanut butter sandwich the other day and I remembered he was trying to talk to me with the peanut butter still in his mouth! It wasn't pretty! LOL! But peanut butter is unfortunately one of those ingredients we always have in our cabinet, but seldom do I use it except to spread it on bread. Pretty sad huh?

So...I want to see how others use it and I'm very excited since this is my first time hosting BSI. I can't wait to see what you come up with!

So, if you want to participate using Peanut Butter as this week’s secret ingredient, please submit your recipes.

You can either submit your recipe by commenting (below) and leaving a link to your blog post (your post should link back to this post, or to my blog) OR you can e-mail it to: ordinaryrecipesmadegourmet [at] yahoo [dot] com

You can also leave me a message on my fan page!

I’ll reply back to your post once I receive it.

Deadline: Please submit recipes before 9:00 PM (Easter Standard Time) on Sunday, August 23th. There will be a round-up of everyone’s posts on Monday, August 24th. The winner will also be announced on Monday along with next week’s host site.

Your time starts… NOW!
“Allez cuisine!”

A RT on Twitter would be much appreciated so you can let others know about the challenge...

I love peanut butter but sadly only half of my household does. The other half are French :-)

Now to think up something cool with this BSI that everyone will love...

I was thinking, the other day, peanut butter would be a great idea. I actually used it last time with the brown sugar. It is another versatile ingredient. Thanks for such a good choice.

That is sad...and you know I like peanut butter but sadly I only eat it when I'm in the mood of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, so I need to remedy that! LOL
