
Well, Jen and I picked the blackberry to feature for this month on The Garden Palette so I prepared a brunch menu featuring this little black sheep of the berry family....
The blackberry fruit is particularly abundant in eastern North America and on the Pacific coast; in the British Isles and Western Europe. Blackberries are my very favorite berry, and the smell reminds me of my childhood...lots of hours spent picking berries on the roadside and out in the bush!
The cheese blintzes sound TOO GOOD and I am going to make them next time the hub is home for breaky! And your blackberry jam...love that you used brown sugar, I've never heard of that! :-)

Thanks girlie, berries are my absolute favorite fruit! I just love em!!! And making my own jams saves so much money too!! Plus you can make as much as you want. I hope you make some for your hubby!
