I Love Salads - Basil Tomato Salad
Hey everyone! Hope you didn't think I was gone for good. I'm not, at least not yet! heee hee! I had to take a long break to rest up actually so I may not post as often as I have been but I haven't abandoned you guys either! I'm posting a quick entry right now because I'm hungry and I wanna eat! Lately, I've been feasting on salads - and you know I put just about anything in in them. Well, this one is very simple, basil and tomatoes! That's it and sometimes simple is just what hits the spot!
I love the colors together and I top it with Newman's Lite Honey Mustard Salad Dressing!
Now stay tuned this week, because this week is my turn to post my recipes for The Garden Palette and our chosen ingredient this month is Pumpkin!

Your dressing is a different twist on the tomato basil salad. My basil frosted and is all black now. Did you grow your own?
I love salads too and that one looks so fresh and lovely! Yum

I wish I could grow my own. I buy it at the local grocer and then when I get it home I'm take it out of the plastic bag, wash it a little then wrap it in a damp paper towel and then put it in a freezer bag. It keeps a bit longer but I do use it up quickly.
